Hers is a fairy tale come true of an American in Paris. With her bachelor degree from UC Berkeley in hand, the San Francisco native took off for France where she further honed her skills at the Parsons School of Design satellite there. In 2004, Fetherston decided to launch her own collection with the help of her boyfriend’s mother who had logged in time in the ateliers of Yves Saint Laurent and Lanvin.

米ニューヨーク5番街にあるヴァン クリーフ＆アーペル（Van Cleef ＆ Arpels）のブティックで4日、エリン・フェザーストン（Erin Fetherston）08/09年クルーズ・コレクションのプレゼンテーションとパーティーが開催された。
コレクションのテーマは「バハマ、バミューダ近辺での舞踏会」。エリン自らがモデルのスタイリングを担当した。ゲストはエリンの新作とシャンパンを楽しみながら、ブティックに飾られたヴァン クリーフ＆アーペルのジュエリーの美しさにため息をついた。
